Ofgem consultation: future price cap Covid-19 adjustment

Ofgem are consulting on whether to adjust the default tariff cap for cap period seven to take into account the impacts of Covid-19. They are also considering whether an adjustment to account for PPM additional costs due to Covid-19 is necessary, something they do not have adequate evidence to assess and did not adjust for in its February 2021 decision.

Another aspect to this is whether to change the methodology used to set the adjustment in the February 2021 decision, or amend the current methodology to include additional filters on the supplier data collected.
