DCLG now the Ministry of Housing, Communities & Local Government

The Department for Communities and Local Government has been renamed as the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government's (MHCLG) following a cabinet reshuffle on 8 January 2018.

Sajid Javid will continue as Secretary of State for the Ministry, with the following ministerial team:

• Dominic Raab - Minister of State for Housing and Planning
• Jake Berry - Parliamentary Under Secretary of State, Minister for the Northern Powerhouse and Local Growth
• Lord Bourne of Aberystwyth - Parliamentary Under Secretary of State at the
• Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government and the Wales Office, Minister for Faith
• Rishi Sunak - Parliamentary Under Secretary of State, Minister for Local Government
• Heather Wheeler - Parliamentary Under Secretary of State, Minister for Housing and Homelessness

Greg Clark will also stay in post as Secretary of State for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy, following the reshuffle.

Claire Perry who was previously the Minister of State for Climate Change and Industry will now attend Cabinet meetings as the Minister of State for Energy and Clean Growth.
