On 1 May 2018, the Shadow Business and Energy Secretary Rebecca Long-Bailey announced refreshed plans by the Labour Party to bring four million homes up to Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) rating of C or above by the end of a five-year parliamentary term.
The Government's recent Clean Growth Strategy pledges to bring 2.5 million fuel poor homes up to an Energy Performance Certificate Rating of C by 2030.
