BEIS has recently remobilised the Energy Efficiency & Local (EEL) Directorate EU Exit team, and we are exploring how businesses are preparing for a “no deal” EU Exit scenario, and the level of business readiness for an October 31 exit. Given some of your engagement with supply chain and industry (particularly insulation providers), it would be useful to know about any potential risks and issues businesses may have that they have identified in the event of a ‘no deal’ scenario. BEIS currently has some information on business readiness for an EU exit, and have a dedicated inbox for enquiries. This email address is eelexit@beis.gov.uk.
