SHIFT survey on charging for communal heat
Posted: Thu Apr 30, 2015 11:07 am
What do others charge for heat supplied? What is the normal daily standing charge? These costs can be quite tricky for landlord and tenant relationships. As there is no national benchmark, the rates charged can often lead to complaints. This is especially difficult when residents compare metered heat prices with gas prices.
The survey's aim is to find out what rates are charged at a national level so that you know that residents are being treated fairly.
Click here to complete this 10 minute survey before 11th May (have your maximum and minimum kWh and standing charge rates handy). All respondents will receive the final results of the survey which will include the prices charged.
As an extra incentive, all respondents will also be entered into a prize draw to win three M&S vouchers worth £25 each.
The survey has been kindly sponsored by Utilita who offer free smart meters and competitive pre-pay rates. Utilita is also a corporate partner of SHIFT, the environmental standard for social landlords.
Response Deadline 11 May 2015
