SHIFT UK Social Landlords - Environmental Performance Review

SHIFT, the sustainability standard for the housing sector has published its 2014 / 2015 environmental performance report on UK social landlords.

This report provides a summary of the key findings and trends identified under some key environmental performance areas, including:
  • Energy efficiency, fuel poverty and emissions
  • Adaptation to climate change
  • Ecology
  • Waste

Social housing landlords are facing “severe challenges” in an unstable funding environment and struggling to make inroads into the energy efficiency of homes, according to the report.
