Home Quality Mark Public Consultation

A public consultation on the new Home Quality Mark is currently open.
The Home Quality Mark is a national mark that will provide new homes with an overall start rating, as well as further indicators focusing on “My Cost, My Wellbeing and My Footprint”.
The deadline for responses is 4 September 2015. Comments and suggestions from the consultation exercise will be fed into the development of HQM and used to inform the final version of the standard, which will be publish in October 2015.
Responses are sought from the construction and housing sector, including all those concerned with the provision of quality, sustainable new homes as well as groups and individuals concerned with the use and operation of new homes.
