Successful Local Authority Central Heating Fund Projects Announced

The twenty local authority projects that have successfully bid for the Government's £25 million Central Heating Fund (launched in March 2016), have now been announced. The projects will use the funding to improve the housing of those in fuel poverty living in their areas.

The successful bid-leading local authorities are:

• Doncaster Council
• South Gloucestershire Council
• Sefton Council
• Northumberland County Council
• Allerdale Borough Council

• North East Derbyshire District Council
• Suffolk County Council
• Cheshire East Council
• West Lancashire Borough Council
• Blackburn with Darwen Council
• Brent Council
• Walsall Metropolitan Borough Council
• West Yorks Combined Authority
