Surrey Wins Millions To Keep Homes Warm & Lower Energy Bills

Action Surrey, working with Surrey’s local authorities, has been awarded £2.5 million to help deliver the Government’s Green Deal home energy efficiency improvement programme.

Over the coming months, the scheme will be rolled out on a street-by-street basis and will help over 600 households in Surrey install energy efficiency improvements including solid wall insulation and new heating systems, so that they have warm, more energy efficient homes and better control of their energy bills.

Action Surrey is a Surrey-wide impartial energy advice centre working with council’s across the County to help residents save money on their energy bills, keep warm and reduce their environmental impact. Action Surrey manages a trusted a installer network.

As a result of being awarded the funding, Action Surrey is looking to recruit 4 new team members to help deliver this exciting multimillion pound project.

Available positions:
- Project Manager (18 months, 37.5 hours per week)
- 2 x Community Engagement Co-ordinators (18 months, 37.5 hours per week)
- Project Administrator (part time, flexible hours, 15 hours per week)
