Central Heating Fund: Local Authority Guidance

On 26 March 2015, DECC published guidance to local authorities on bidding for their new Central Heating Fund (CHF).

The CHF is a £25m capital funding programme designed to support LAs, in conjunction with their local partners, to deliver first-time central heating systems to their fuel poor households. The funding was first announced in the Chancellor's 2014 Autumn Statement

The application deadline for the bids is 5 June 2015.
