‘Part L of the building regulations is due to change during 2005 in line with the energy white paper 2003 recommendations and an EU buildings directive,
which must be in place by January 2006. This workshop looked at the likely impacts in the changes of the regulations that may affect the workings of
HECA officers across the country. Part L is the building regulation that deals with the conservation of energy and fuel within buildings.’
